Bankers Petroleum Ltd was incorporated as Errington Gold Exploration Ltd. under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) on August 11, 1983. On June 24, 2004, the Company changed its name to Bankers Petroleum Ltd and continued under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia). The Company is engaged in the exploration for, and development and production of, oil in Albania. It operates the Albanian oilfields pursuant to Petroleum Agreements with Albpetrol Sh.A (Albpetrol), the state-owned oil company, under Albpetrol's existing license with the Albanian National Agency for Natural Resources (AKBN).
